RVLL Hit-A-Thon

At Rincon Valley Little League our kids learn as much off the field as they do on the field. We believe this is true because of the incredible players, the awesome coaches and more importantly the great support from our families and community. Please know that no amount is too small. Your ongoing backing and support of our players and league is truly appreciated.

WHAT is the Hit-A-Thon:

The Hit-A-Thon is the only fundraiser that RVLL does. The monies raised go toward maintenance, field and facility improvements, and general operation of our League. It is a combined effort of an online pledge collection ending with awards at our family fun picnic day scheduled for Saturday, May 6th.

As a board, we work hard to operate within our budget of collected registration fees.  We are work diligently to prepare and maintain the fields and facilities for opening day. Many hours of hard labor have gone into making certain that the fields will be in tip top shape for our players on Opening Day but labor only goes so far. In order for the league to maintain the park to what people expect it to be and continue enhancements, we need your help.

WHO gets to Participate:

All RVLL players from Tee Ball all the way up to Seniors

WHEN will it run?

The program will begin with an email from 99Pledges that will have clear instructions on how to begin. It will run from the time you receive the email until just before Family Picnic Day; in May.

WHERE will it take place?

This is a virtual fundraiser that combines online fundraising with an in person hitting session during one of your child’s assigned practice times. Specific dates for your child will come from their coach. So begin sharing the information ASAP.

The finalists will compete on Family Picnic Day, Saturday May 6th, at RVLL in a fun filled family event!

WHY support the Hit-a-Thon?

Why should I participate if I already pay for registration? This is a great question!

Your child’s registration fees are disbursed through the League in the follow manner:

1. Little League International Charter and Membership dues

2. Field Maintenance (Mowing, Repairs, Dirt, Tools, more) and Utilities (Lots of water, electricity, phone, internet)

3. Equipment, baseballs and Uniforms

HOW does a Hit-A-Thon Work?

It’s easy! Each child, on a designated day, will receive 10 pitches from their coach. They will record how many they hit. Friends and family can sponsor PER hit, or can sponsor for a flat fee.

Most money raised by a team receives a team party at Ausiello's includes all players drinks, food, and dessert.
